*PRODFOR - The Integrated Program on Development and Qualification of Suppliers was created in 1997, and represents a joint action of the main Espírito Santo state companies to promote the development and qualification of its suppliers. It is supported and coordinated by the Federation of the Industries of the State of Espírito Santo (Findes) through the Euvaldo Lodi Institute (IEL-ES). Aracruz Celulose, Canexus, Companhia Espírito Santense de Saneamento (Cesan), Chocolates Garoto, ArcelorMittal Cariacica, ArcelorMittal Tubarão, Vale, Espírito Santo Centrais Elétricas S.A. (Escelsa), Technip Flexibrás Tubos Flexíveis, Petrobras, Samarco Mineração and Oi (the former Telemar) - Telecomunicações do Espírito Santo S.A companies participate in Prodfor as supporters.

2009 WAS MARKED BY GREAT ITAMIL ACHIEVEMENTS: OHSAS 18001:2007 CERTIFICATION AND SGFFT PRODFOR CERTIFICATION - ITAMIL received two certifications at the event that took place on December 16, 2009 in Vitória. It was an incredible milestone for Itamil and its collaborators to receive the Occupational Safety and Health Management certification (OSHAS 18001:2007) and Labor, Financial and Fiscal Management certification (SGFFT), both of which PRODFOR-certified. With 2010 coming, ITAMIL is an Integrated Management reference in Espírito Santo state and confirms its solidity by continuously investing in the quality of its products and services, respecting the environment and always evolving with all its collaborators, partners and customers. 

2009 PRODFOR OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE AWARD - Together with the SGSS and SGFFT certifications, ITAMIL received the 2009 Outstanding Performance Supplier Award as the best performance in certifying suppliers of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OHSAS 18001:2007).

2008 SUPPLIER VALE AWARD - At the event that took place in November 2008 at the Convention Center of Vitória, ITAMIL received the 2008 Supplier Vale Award by Vale in which it competed with 200 Vale suppliers in ES, and was nominated as the best Vale Supplier in the PRODFOR category. 

PRODFOR ISO 14001: 2004 CERTIFICATION - ITAMIL participated in the pilot project for PRODFOR to implement ISO 14001:2004 standard. We were certified in 2007 with a considerable improvement level. The Environmental Management - ISO 14001 certification event took place on December 20, 2007 in Vitória. The Environmental Management came to add to ITAMIL and its collaborators improvements at responsibility, awareness and development level, with continuous improvements in the production process and physical health of the collaborator.

2006 EXCELLENCE SAMARCO AWARD - In March 2006 ITAMIL received the 2006 Excellence Samarco Award in Belo Horizonte which stood out the customer service quality, punctual delivery, occupational safety, cost and development of social, environmental actions. The award event counted on the Ethos Institute for Companies and Social Responsibility and the Education Uniethos Institute for Social Responsibility and Social Development.

2004 PRODFOR OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE AWARD - In 1998 ITAMIL was PRODFOR certified in Quality Management - SGQF (Supply Quality Management System) on the basis of ISO 9001:2000 standard. It received the PRODFOR Outstanding Performance Award in 2004 as the best Quality Management performance.
